Manchester Institute of Health and Performance will create a centre that drives forward the standards of sport science and medicine in elite sport across Manchester, firmly placing the city as a leading nucleus for sport. The concept is to enable sports to access all potential amenities, including medical diagnostics and research all under one roof. The £18million capital investment is a three way funding arrangement between Manchester City Council, Manchester City Football Club and Sport England (UK Sport).
Pierre Angulaire is engaged as orchestrator, problem solver and team builder to guide the tri-party client through the design and construction process and ultimately completion in December 2015. The project compliments the existing schemes within the Beswick Comminty Hub Programme as well as the new facilities currently under development with MCFC.
